Dotcom-Net is a subsidiary of KnotFalse.com (Pty) Ltd and operates under its parent company while providing independent IT services, software development, domain hosting, and cloud solutions.

3. User Responsibilities By using our services, you agree to:
Provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering or using our services. Not misuse our services for illegal or malicious activities.Not attempt to hack, disrupt, or exploit vulnerabilities in our software, hosting, or servers.Comply with all applicable laws (local & international). Maintain the security of your login credentials and immediately report unauthorized access. Failure to comply may result in account termination or legal action.
4. Payment, Subscriptions & Refund Policy 4.1. Payments & Billing Payments for our services (hosting, software development, domain management) are processed via:
PayFast, PayPal, Stripe, or EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) Monthly or annual subscription plans for hosting & SaaS services All billing is in ZAR (South African Rand) unless otherwise stated.
4.2. Refund Policy Non-Refundable Services:
Domain registrations & renewals Custom software development fees App development costs Refunds may be issued only for hosting or SaaS subscriptions if a cancellation request is submitted within 7 days of payment.
5. Intellectual Property All content, software, and services offered by Dotcom-Net are protected under copyright & intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute our software or proprietary content without prior written permission. Any custom software developed for clients remains Dotcom-Net’s intellectual property unless specified otherwise in a contract. Trademarks, logos, and branding associated with Dotcom-Net cannot be used without prior consent. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property may lead to legal action.
6. Privacy & Data Protection Our use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to data collection for service functionality & security monitoring. If you interact with us via social media, lead forms, or WhatsApp, we may process limited personal information. We do NOT sell or share your data with third parties for advertising purposes.
7. Web & Domain Hosting Terms If you use our domain registration or hosting services, you agree to:
Use hosting services only for legal activities (No illegal content, spam, or phishing). Keep your domain registration details accurate & up to date. Not overload or abuse server resources. Failure to comply may result in immediate suspension or removal of hosting services.
8. Service Availability & Modifications We strive to provide 99.9% uptime for hosting & cloud services.However, we may need to suspend services temporarily for: System maintenance & security updates Unforeseen downtime or emergency situations We are NOT liable for disruptions beyond our control (e.g., AWS server failures, cyberattacks, etc.).
9. Limitation of Liability Dotcom-Net (Pty) Ltd is NOT responsible for:
Loss of data due to user errors, third-party service failures, or cyberattacks Financial losses or lost business opportunities resulting from downtime or software bugs Unauthorized access due to weak passwords or insecure user practices Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service in the last 6 months. 10. Account Termination & Suspension We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms & Conditions You fail to make timely payments for subscription-based services You engage in fraudulent, illegal, or harmful activities You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@dotcomnet.co.za .
Upon termination, your access to Dotcom-Net services will be revoked.
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution These Terms are governed by South African law (POPIA, CPA). Any disputes shall first be resolved through mediation. If mediation fails, disputes shall be resolved in South African courts. International clients agree to comply with South African laws when using our services.
12. Changes to These Terms We may update these Terms periodically.
